The City of Vancouver is holding the third of three Community Open House meetings at Central Church on May 17 (4-8pm) to give people a chance to come together for conversations on shaping a new Community Plan for the West End. Come and share in those conversations!

Many thanks to all the volunteers from Central and Galilee and Christ Alive who turned out yesterday (May 12) to help clean the church! Windows, pews, closets and cupboards all received a good scrubbing, followed by a delicious BBQ hosted by Galilee.

On Good Friday, Apr 6 at 11:00am, we will hold a joint bilingual Service of Worship with Galilee Korean Church.

On Thursday, Apr 5 we will hold our Maundy Thursday Service, with Holy Communion in an intimate “Last Supper” format.

We will hold a Service of Worship at 7:30pm on Ash Wednesday, Feb 22.

The Annual General Meeting will be held following the Service of Worship on Sunday, February 26, 2012. All members should try to attend this important meeting.

This year both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day fall on a Sunday. We will celebrate our usual Service of Worship at 10:30am on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2012. Happy New Year!

We warmly invite you to join in our worship service on Christmas Eve at 7:30pm. This is a traditional service of scripture readings and Christmas carols, finishing with a moving candlelight version of Silent Night. All are welcome.
