Established in Vancouver’s West End, Central Presbyterian Church chose to remain Presbyterian following the 1925 church union that formed the United Church of Canada, grounding its ministry in Reformed theology. Its deep roots trace back to Scottish settlers, French Huguenots, and early Canadian Presbyterian traditions dating to the late 1700s. Today, Central Presbyterian remains a vibrant community hub, offering uplifting worship, active outreach, and support for diverse groups across the city.Â

We are rooted in the Reformed Theology and Tradition, holding to the authority of Scripture, the sovereignty of God, and salvation by grace through Christ. All that we do springs from this fundamental faith.
